5-Year “Don’t Use It, Don’t Lose It” Program: Please read your policy in full upon receiving it. Your coverage ends 5 years from the date of purchase: _________________. At this time, if no claims have been made, you have 12 months to use the amount paid into the program (_________) toward a purchase of at least double the amount (__________).
Floor Models: All floor models are sold on an as-is basis. Please thoroughly inspect any floor model you intend to purchase.
Pilling: Pilling is normal and not a reflection of quality on some new upholstery pieces. Pilling is not covered by manufacturer warranty or your 5-year protection plan. If you experience pilling, please contact us and we will advise you on how to refresh pieces that have pilled.
Leather/Leather Look Care: Regular maintenance will help to extend the life of your new leather or leather look products. You should keep your products dust-free and gently wipe your leather down with a clean, damp cloth, immediately followed by a dry cloth. Do not saturate the leather, use chemicals, detergents, or conditioners. This maintenance prevents buildup of hair and body oils, which can damage and deteriorate your leather.
Mattress Maintenance: Slight body impressions are normal, to an extent. To minimize body impressions, new mattresses should be rotated 180° for twin, double, and queen size and 90° for king size once every one to two weeks for the first three months of ownership. After this, the mattress should be rotated every three months for the duration of ownership. If you have a concern about the severity of your body impressions, please contact us so we may assess whether it would qualify for a manufacturer warranty claim.
Mattress Protectors: To protect the waterproof membrane, mattress protectors are typically packed by the manufacturer in starch. Prior to first use, the mattress protectors must be washed and dried according to the washing instructions on the package.
Mattress Warranty Validation: Your new mattress will come with a warranty from the manufacturer. The manufacturer will outline a set of criteria for the validity of your warranty which will be included with your new mattress or otherwise available from King Furniture, if requested. It is not the responsibility of King Furniture to ensure that you understand the requirements of a valid warranty. King Furniture will assist you with making a warranty claim on any mattress purchased at King Furniture. Generally, the following items are included on most manufacturers’ warranty criteria:
-
The mattress is clean and unsoiled, ensured by use of a high-quality mattress protector;
-
The mattress has an appropriate foundation. Please note that old boxsprings may not be considered an appropriate foundation.
-
The bedframe has at least 5 points of contact on the floor for queen and double size beds, and 6 points of contact for king size, and all must have a center supporting rail.
90 Day Sleep Guarantee: The King Furniture 90 Day Sleep Guarantee ensures that you may exchange your mattress if you find that it is not the right fit for you. The Guarantee is contingent upon the purchase of a mattress protector at the time of mattress purchase. The mattress protector is to be used at all times and your returned mattress must be in like-new condition. You are required to sleep on your mattress for a period of 30 days prior to exercising your Sleep Guarantee to accommodate for the typical adjustment period associated with using a new mattress. The customer is responsible for any difference in cost and a $99.99 processing fee that covers delivery and removal.
